Majors in Roman Law, Public Administration and Political Science

Work as IT professional for life insurance (Metropolitan Life) and utility company (ESKOM) until 1990.

Resign and travel around the world.

Start own communications and design business 1991.

Form partnership 1992.

Buy partner out 2003.

Involvement in two clothing enterprises, Halo Clothing and Afro Dizzy Manufacturing.

Still working as a self employed graphic designer and project manager until now, 2010 in Cape Town, South Africa.

Skills:
• 19 Years in BTL art direction, design, taking projects from conceptualization to final product, including preparing print products for reprographic and print production.
• In depth knowledge of corporate communication needs obtained through years of working with corporate communications managers.
• Excellent understanding of technology and software. (Often do consulting work for other
professionals in my field).
• In-depth knowledge of Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Freehand. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Dreamweaver (which I use for website design).
• Excellent knowledge of my industry and production processes (reprographics and printing), as well as rquirements for material to be prepared for electronic media such as Powerpoint presentations, pdf and website design requirements.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analyze my clients’ marketing and communication requirements, conceptualise and apply.
