Feasibility study, market analysis and business planning for two innovations

Details: With funding from the Department of Science and Technology’s Innovation Fund, the CSIR developed an internet-based tool for Spatial Information Integration.

On successful development of the tool, OneWorld was retained by the CSIR to assist in the commercialisation process. Their aim was to:

  • Conduct a market study and analysis
  • Analyse local and international competitors
  • Develop a business model
  • Develop a business plan
  • Develop an investor plan
  • Engage and consult with all stakeholders (especially with different government departments and parastatals)
  • Work closely with the Project Steering Committee
  • Project management
