Feasibility study, market analysis and business planning for two innovations

Details: With funding from the Department of Science and Technology’s Innovation Fund, the CSIR developed an internet-based tool for Spatial Information Integration.
On successful development of the tool, OneWorld was retained by the CSIR to assist in the commercialisation process. Their aim was to:
- Conduct a market study and analysis
- Analyse local and international competitors
- Develop a business model
- Develop a business plan
- Develop an investor plan
- Engage and consult with all stakeholders (especially with different government departments and parastatals)
- Work closely with the Project Steering Committee
- Project management
